Welcome to 31st New England Chinese Youth Summer Camp!

Let an amazing summer camp experience begin here at NECYSC! For 30 years, NECYSC has hosted youths from all over the United States and even from as far away as Taiwan. Our theme this year is Chinese Children’s Folklore and games.

Our campers meet new friends, build lifetime friendships, and develop independence, confidence, and leadership skills while learning about Chinese culture. Campers do not need to be ethnically Chinese to attend NECYSC. Everyone is welcome – we only ask that campers have an interest in Chinese culture!

We offer day programs for children ages 6-10 years old and overnight programs for youth ages 10-17 years old. All our programs consist of a wide variety of activities and classes, such as Chinese arts & crafts, Chinese yo-yo, calligraphy, kung fu, dancing, and singing.

Our classes are taught by many dedicated local teachers who love to share their knowledge and talents with our campers. In addition, every year NECYSC hosts special guest teachers from Taiwan who share their skills and offer additional insights into Chinese culture.

Our enthusiastic staff of counselors and CITs makes sure each camper is engaged and having fun! Activities such as Carnival, Movie Night, Talent Show, CIT Dress-Up, and Game Night are among campers’ favorites.

By the end of camp week, our campers will have learned a skill that they exhibit in a show for parents and friends. NECYSC packs a summer’s worth of memories into one unforgettable week that keeps campers coming back year after year!

So be sure to register and join the fun! Registration begins February 1, 2017!

Just like last year, camper acceptance is given only when NECYSC receives ALL required information, which includes:

  • Payment (separate check for each camper)
  • Registration online or send paper application via mail with additional $20 non-refundable processing fee

  • Health Forms
  • Completed CORI and SORI forms with photocopy of government issued identification (driver's license, passport, etc.) of parent(s) performing POD. Required for Overnight and ExplorAsian parents and Day camper parents who would like to volunteer at camp or chaperone field trip.

The New England Chinese Youth Summer Camp (NECYSC) started in 1987 and has been held at Regis College in Weston, MA for over three decades. 2017 will be our 31st year running! NECYSC is organized by a rotating committee of volunteers who work to bring this cultural camp to the community each year. NECYSC is a non-profit group, affiliated with the Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association (GBCCA), whose goal is to bring youth together who are interested in Chinese culture and foster a sense of community. Although we mostly draw people from the Massachusetts area, we have had campers come from as far as Taiwan to join the program. We have more than doubled in size since the first Chinese camp and we hope to continue to grow and introduce new and interesting programs for the campers. Online application and forms are available In February, please check back occasionally for updates. Thanks.
