Thank you for visiting the ExplorAsian site! We just wrapped up another successful program year, held from July 26 to August 1, 2009, in which our phenomenal campers produced a community exhibition, Youth Voices: We are America.

Parents and campers, applications for NECYSC Senior Program: ExplorAsian 2010 are now available! We hope you join us for another exciting year. This year's program will be held from July 25 to 31, 2010.

The community exhibition last year's program created, Youth Voices: We are America , will be on display in the Lexington Public Library this coming spring. Stay tuned for more details!

About Us
Established in 2002 as an expansion of NECYSC (New England Chinese Youth Summer Camp), NECYSC Senior Program: ExplorAsian is a week-long, over-night summer program for students grades 9-12 who are interested in learning about Chinese American identity and related issues, building leadership skills, having fun, and meeting new people. The goal of ExplorAsian is to empower youth to become leaders in their communities. To read more about our goals and who we are, click here.

NECYSC is in compliance with 105 CMR 430.00 (State Sanitary Code, Chapter IV, Minimum Sanitation and Safety Standards for Recreation for Children)
Volunteers of NECYSC who have unsupervised contact with children are subject to a Criminal Offender Record Investigation (CORI)
and Sexual Offender Record Investigation (SORI) as required by M.G.L. c. 6, § 172G
NECYSC is granted a license and permit to operate a camp for children in the Town of Weston.
