Welcome to ExplorAsian!

Thank you for visiting the ExplorAsian site! We just wrapped up another successful program year held from July 25 to July 31, 2010, in which our phenomenal campers produced their own videos depicting various things they learned during the week. The campers had a blast!

What is ExplorAsian?

Established in 2002 as an expansion of NECYSC (New England Chinese Youth Summer Camp), NECYSC Senior Program: ExplorAsian is a week-long, over-night summer program for students entering grades 9-12 who are interested in learning about Chinese American identity and related issues, building leadership skills, having fun, and meeting new people. The goal of ExplorAsian is to empower youth to become leaders in their communities. Previously, our youth have produced a traveling exhibition and video montages. To read more about our goals and who we are, click here.

ExplorAsian is sponsored by the Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association (GBCCA).
