2010 Program Year - Video Projects

Last year, our campers learned about various issues facing Asian-American youth and practiced identifying the causes of these issues through brainstorming and data collection. The campers formed their own groups, each one focusing on a different issue, and were asked to create a short video depicting their interpretation of their specific topic. This project not only gave them a chance to learn more about their heritage and culture, but allowed them to enhance their leadership and teamwork skills while working in groups with fellow campers and friends. Additionally, campers were taught basic skills in video filming and digital editing to create their projects. They had a blast!

Feel free to check out the results of their hard work below!

Group 1: Asian Parent Expectations

Group 2: Think Twice

Group 3: Discrimination

Group 4: All Asians Look The Same
