Camper Program

The camp atmosphere provides a great opportunity to make new friends and keep in touch with old ones. We provide cultural aspects to the campers that they might not be exposed to otherwise. We have teachers in martial arts, Chinese dancing, arts and crafts, and Chinese painting from the local area. Sponsors in Taiwan also provide specially selected teachers to join our camp staff. Each camper is assigned to a group led by counselors that they spend the day with. The schedule is selected to be a mix of cultural and entertaining experiences.

Regis College provides many facilities that are open to campers during set hours including a sports field, basketball courts, tennis courts, and access to Regis College’s swimming pool to cool off on those hot summer days. Don’t forget the nightlife…evening activities provide an opportunity for the entire camp to mix and mingle together. Nighttime games, a talent show, an outdoor BBQ, a dance (for the older campers), a movie night (for younger campers), and even a carnival add entertainment and excitement to the day!

Day Program (ages 6-10)

This is a daytime program: 8:15 AM – 5:30 PM, which includes all of the daytime activities and the noontime meal.

Overnight Program (ages 10-14)

This is an overnight program (the majority of our kids are overnight campers). This is the ideal program for those ages 10-14 and allows them to participate in all of the camp activities as well as bond with friends.

Note: Parents of overnight campers are required to perform "parent duty" once during the week. This is a 6-8 hour shift where parents will contribute to the camp by providing additional supervison, front desk duty, room preparation, and bed checks. This has been done for several years and has worked out very well. We are all volunteers and your help is greatly appreciated.
