Please direct all registration related questions to: registration@necysc.org The New England Chinese Youth Summer Camp (NECYSC) started in 1987 and has been held at Regis College in Weston, MA for close to two decades. 2008 will be our 22st year running! NECYSC is organized by a rotating committee of volunteers who work to bring this cultural camp to the community each year. NECYSC is a non-profit group, affiliated with the Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association (GBCCA), whose goal is to bring youth together who are interested in Chinese culture and foster a sense of community. Although we mostly draw people from the Massachusetts area, we have had campers come from as far as Taiwan to join the program. We have more than doubled in size since the first Chinese camp and we hope to continue to grow and introduce new and interesting programs for the campers. Applications are available in January, please check back occassionally for updates. Thanks. In 2007, we held the 5th year of SENIOR program the week following the Junior Program. We are happy to say that it was a smashing success. This new program gives older campers the opportunity to choose their own courses from those provided. We will also be housed seperately from the Junior program and participate in activities more geared for teenagers. This is a new program open to campers entering 9th-12th grades. We enourage you to join!
