  • Please remember that camp policy is a $350 fine assessed for no shows and for any absences/changes not made in accordance with the above process. We appreciate your understanding so that we can provide coverage at all times for our campers.

CORI/SORI Information

Massachusetts state law requires that NECYSC, like all youth summer camps, collect information from all volunteers at camp. That information includes full name as it appears on a state-issued ID (like a driver's license or passport), date of birth, and the last SIX digits of the volunteer's social security number. This information is used for the sole purpose of the Criminal Offender Registration Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registration Information (SORI) background checks, to safeguard our campers. NECYSC is in compliance with 105 CMR 430.00 (State Sanitary Code, Chapter IV, Minimum Sanitation and Safety Standards for Recreation for Children)
Volunteers of NECYSC who have unsupervised contact with children are subject to a Criminal Offender Record Investigation (CORI)
and Sexual Offender Record Investigation (SORI) as required by M.G.L. c. 6, § 172G
NECYSC is granted a license and permit to operate a camp for children in the town of Weston.
