Hello NECYSC families,

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who participated in our NECYSC 2020 Virtual Activities in July and August! This year was definitely a rollercoaster, but we're so thankful for all of you who made the 34th year of NECYSC not only possible, but a big success! The staff had a great time planning activities and seeing both familiar and new faces.

This summer, our virtual activities had over 200 participants! Our 67 wonderful staff members worked tremendously hard on planning online activities for you all, which included scallion pancake making, jeopardy, Chinese yoyo, escape room, arts and crafts, cultural lessons, and many more.

In addition, we had the pleasure of having guest speakers host some activities. These included Asian Americans in Hollywood with Michael Tow, Asian American History with Prof. Emma Teng, and Constructing Identities with Carter Yee. We were also able to continue some of our evening activities: CIT Dress-Up, Monday Funday (Carnival), and Talent Show!

As you may know, NECYSC will be accepting donations to alleviate the costs of running activities this year, and any leftover funds will roll into years to come. Any donations are greatly appreciated and can be made by writing a check to NECYSC and sending it to: NECYSC, P.O. Box 615, Weston, MA 02493.

If you or your camper won a T-shirt this year, we will be sending them out shortly! For those of you who did not win, NECYSC 2020 T-shirts will be available for purchase! Please fill out this form to place an order.

We would like to extend a thank you to our committee, our staff, our guest speakers, and our sponsors that made this possible. We'd especially like to thank the Taipei Economic Cultural Office in Boston (TECO) for their generous donation to help us keep camp running. Most importantly, thank YOU, the campers and families - without your support this camp would not have been able to thrive these past 34 years, and we look forward to seeing your support for years to come. If you have any feedback or questions, please fill out this FORM.

Finally, NECYSC 2021 will be held from Sunday, August 1st to Saturday, 7th. Camper registration opens in February - see you there! We hope you all stay safe and healthy, and have a wonderful rest of your summer. The information in this email is also available at https://www.necysc.org.

Best,
Kara Chuang, Michael Chen, Matt Cho, April Chung, Jarrett Lee, Yiyi Chen, Jesse Wang, Kristine Guan
